    Just received this email:
Well, they can implement this, but a properly functioning award calendar?

As a data point, I am currently at @ $213/MQS or $0.20/MQM (only BIS, does not include rollover, AX bonus)

Just saw this as well - wish I could qualify as diamond with just MQD as my numbers are quite high due to frequent short trips that cost almost $1 per MQM

Heh! USAF, I saw this and thought, I should check...after all, I've flown paid DL BE on several occasions this year.. here's what it gives:

Part of the irony is all if the MQM promos they are likely going to start throwing around, like the Hilton 250 going on now. Without the MQD to match, the promo seems pretty worthless. Odds are if you're ahead in MQD, these low value MQM rewards aren't going to catch you up. If your on par like most, the MQMs won't mean anything because your MQDs won't suffice.

But hey... At least they roll over. :)

Too bad the MQDs don't roll over. I hit DM by miles last month and by MQDs this week. If my future MQMs roll over to next year, so should my MQDs!!! After all, now don't they count equally towards my status, or possible lack of.

    MQSs don't rollover either.

I know. I usually don't come close to qualifying with MQSs, although this year I'm at 118.

So far this year, I have:

146,894 MQMs (31,984 rolled over from last year)
    $14,344 MQDs
    122 MQSs

I have about 5-6,000 more MQMs on the schedule and then the rest of my travel this year will be with earned Skypesos. (I was lucky to get a "RT" vacation MIA-CGD-OTP in December to visit family, returning in January OTP-CDG-JFK-FLL for 100,000 Skypesos, all BE/F. I only booked like that to do the CDG-JFK on the A380)

This year I began traveling in mid April, so I feel I will be OK with the new requirements next year, if I'm not lazy and go to work as soon as I return from vaca.

For anyone who may have an APO or FPO address...

Once MQD requirements were announced, I switched my account address from my overseas APO address to my UK address as dl.com did not specify its policy towards APO and MQD requirements.

As of this past week, a FO friend, who has her APO address in her account verified they are not applying the MQD requirement to APO (and presumably FPO) addresses.

I hope this helps any others who may be wondering about this!

    :)

    haha :)

Just doesn't work for most FPO/APO purposes...unless you're in a deployable unit.
