Starpoints 365 day reservation limitation

    I just made a reservation for Lagunamar in Cancun for December of 2016 using Starpoints. The reservation is confirmed in my profile. I noticed after that there is a policy of only allowing reservations at SVO properties within 365 days. Is my reservation valid? Will the system cancel the reservation? Any experience appreciated.

    The 365-day rule was put into place for a valid reason; however, if an SVO property allows an award booking to be made past this point, it will be honored.
