    Hi Everyone,

I know there are naysayers, but I am a Starbucks fan...usually froo froo drinks, particularly caramel frappuccinos...the ultimate nightmare for increasing one's blood sugar...vice regular coffee, which I do not drink. :) Flying to MAD last week, it was early and I stopped to get my "34 packets of sugar" drink...after a bit of a wait, they gave me my drink, which had been sitting for a bit too long, as it was already starting to separate. I was not happy, but went with it anyway since it was buys.

Much to my shock, it was straight coffee and I about choked. I took it back and they made me a new one (perfect) then gladly gave me a voucher for a free drink.

Airport stores are not always the best, but this shop has always made good drinks and provided pretty good service.

    :)robin

Great resolution, like my Starbucks too, at times. A good outcome here, love that they provided also a free drinks voucher! Thanks for sharing your experiences!:)

Yes - I have used my "RED" SB gift card (which I periodically top up) at LHR T3, as well as the stores in T4 and T5. :) I know there are many airport locations in various countries that do not accept gift cards. On an semi-related note to this question, many road side services stops here in the UK do not accept the cards as well.

In the 4-5 years I've been traveled through T3, it's been a Starbucks...
