ANA (All Nippon Airlines), Japan’s largest airline, has teamed up with Starbucks to release a limited edition stainless steel coffee tumbler.

With it’s clean white color and charming little whale/rainbow combo, you can’t help but scream, “IT’S SO CUTE!!!” One of our reporters was so enthralled with the cuteness of this limited edition tumbler, that she stopped an unsuspecting bystander and demanded to know where she procured such an adorable item.

Be warned, the cuteness comes at a high price. 4,000 yen (US $50) to be exact.
But hey, ANA and Starbucks have thrown in a free on-the-go coffee kit filled with three Starbucks Via instant coffee packets. That cute little pocket pack has got to be worth the steep price tag.

$3 worth of instant coffee definitely makes up for the $50 mug.

What's with the whale? Is it meant to be a message against Japan's killing of whales?

It kind of reminds me of a dead whale with buzzards circling.

Cause that is probably the first thing that pop's into anyone not from Japan's head when they see that...

That sounds like what you would say about a 100 mL container. Because you certainly don't want your $50 container to be confiscated by the TSA.

Bargain of a deal! Too bad that I don't drink coffee! I wonder what Sea Shepherd would think about this item!

When I first looked at the picture, I seriously thought it was something Starbucks would give away to people at the Seattle Pride :D I can definitely use a coffee tumbler, but not at the price of $50.

Gotta say the tumbler looks ugly. Starbucks in Asia has produced better ones before.

Me too, and it's anything but "Cute"
    I wouldn't pay $5 for it!
