It looks like the Star Alliance has just released a new iPhone app last week. The app is called Star Alliance Navigator and includes features for flight searches and status information; plus airport maps and lounge guides for all Star partners. The app doesn't do much else beyond that, but it could serve as a useful reference tool.

The app can be used in an offline mode if you download any maps or info you might need ahead of time.

I'm still playing around with it, and so far it looks like the info for the major airports are in there, but some smaller ones haven't been added in yet even though it's in their list of airports.

It's ok, but not that great. Star could have done something better.

Yeah, there's not much to it and many other apps have the same features. Still, having a comprehensive list of lounges and what they offer is nice.
