    Hi All.

I'm looking for Hyatts that have stand alone showers vs those awful tub/shower combo units in normal rooms a diamond can expect to get. Are there any?

IMO if anything, there are more shower only rooms and suites than tub/shower combos, although Hyatt Place older properties might be an exception. At Chicago Hyatt Regency, my confirmed suite upgrade, to only a large room that I would describe as a junior suite, had only a narrow bathroom with a small shower stall.

Some PH and Andaz have both: a shower stall and a separate bath tub. I assume this would be OK for you?

Another idea is to book a handicapped room with a (usually huge) "roll in" shower.

Definitely don't mind 2 pieces as I can ignore the one, just don't like the tubs at all.

Looking mostly in the Hyatt/Regency type hotels.

I remember being told the HR Schaumburg/Woodfield Kings had shower only while doubles had a tub.
