MIRAMAR, Fla., May 7, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Finding low fares is now much easier. Starting today, Spirit Airlines (SAVE) the fastest growing airline in the Americas, introduces three new international routes and four new domestic routes to its ever expanding network, bringing more ultra-low fares so customers can enjoy air travel without breaking the bank.

"Spirit's growth continues to be focused on places our customers want to fly to for less" said Mark Kopczak, Spirit Airlines' Vice President of Network Planning. "Our Bare Fares(TM) plus Frill Control(TM) allow our customers to customize their travel experience while saving money, whether it's for a trip to Latin America from Houston, to visit friends and family in one of the new cities that Spirit will add from Atlanta this summer or for an excursion from Latrobe/Pittsburgh to see the sights in Chicago. Cost-conscious customers can save on travel to more places than ever with Spirit."

    About Spirit Airlines:

Spirit Airlines (SAVE) is committed to offering the lowest total price to the places we fly, on average much lower than other airlines. Our customers start with an unbundled, stripped-down Bare Fare(TM) and get Frill Control(TM) which allows them to pay only for the options they choose - like bags, seat assignments and refreshments -- the things other airlines bake right into their ticket prices. Spirit's total price, including options, is nearly 40 percent lower than other airlines on average. We help people save money and travel more often, create new jobs and stimulate business growth in the communities we serve. With our modern and fuel-efficient all-Airbus fleet we operate more than 360 daily flights to 57 destinations in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean. Come save with us at www.spirit.com.

MEDIA NOTE: Spirit aircraft photos and video b-roll are available in the press room section of Spirit.com.
