    Hi everyone,

Back in April (I think), there was a promo for 2000 free Millemiglia miles from Alitalia just for signing up with them. If you booked travel, you got some extra miles, though I did not do this. After these miles posted, I was wanting to transfer them to my SPG account, but found the website (Alitalia's) rather difficult to deal with. I called their customer service number and they told me that they don't do these transfers any longer.

    So my questions are:

    1. When did this stop?

    2. Has anyone transferred miles from Alitalia to SPG recently/successfully?

    3. Any thoughts on what to do with these miles now?

    Thanks in advance!

It never started. SPG does not currently have an agreement with any airline partner to accept transfers from an airline frequent flyer program into SPG and never did have one in the past either.

Maybe through multiple other affinity programs, but not directly.

You might want to consult with some others on the Other Airlines/Europe forum.
