Tampa International Airport is hopping aboard an initiative Tuesday that will help frequent flyers move quickly through safety screening.

It's called the "TSA PreCheck," and to begin it will only be tested on Delta passengers at TIA.
The program is a Transportation Security Administration initiative, and it aims at eliminating some of the time it takes to check in and go through screening.

    Here's how it works:
Those who signup and are approved for the program will have their information imbedded into a bar code in their boarding pass, the TSA said.
When screening, they'll be approved for a separate line. And they won't be required to take off their shoes, belt or light jacket. They also won't have to remove liquids from carry-on bags.
