This thread brings back an experience from the 1970's when I was still a student. After a night at an Alice Cooper Concert in Cincinnati, we were wandering around downtown Cincy. Looking for a public restroom we entered the Sherry Netherlands hotel lobby. Wow. just Wow. I had never seen a lobby like that ever. And haven't since. I have not been back to Cincy for 40 years but I expect that it is still impressive albeit somewhat dated. But for a 22 year old, the Sherry Netherlands Lobby was Impressive.
