I have trouble equating the name Southwest Airlines with a vacation.

I guess not many have this problem in the US.

A lot of people don't have the ability to look down their nose askance at reasonably priced coach fares, especially ones that don't tack on a bunch of nuisance fees for checked baggage, changing travel times, and so on, nor do they have the inclination, requirement or cash to spend any more time on planes than absolutely necessary, nor do they need to travel outside the US for a vacation.

Southwest serves a lot of people just fine; and they in general have the best schedule and ability to fly to LAS nonstop from a variety of places of anyone. I fly to Vegas... and WN is always on my list of carriers I'll fly there.
