    DALLAS , Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines announced today plans to operate one new daily nonstop flight between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport beginning June 10, 2012 . This will be in addition to the three daily flights operated by AirTran, Southwest's wholly-owned subsidiary. The carrier is pleased to add the long-haul route to its map—connecting two destinations popular for both leisure and business. Flights can be booked via www.southwest.com orwww.airtran.com.
