I currently live in South Korea and am considering heading back for the FTU coming up later November, early December. My airline of choice is currently UA. Any good options for a relatively inexpensive flight back Stateside? I'm currently looking at around $1000 or so for a UA, Seoul-San Fran-LAX. Any nuggets out there would be appreciated. Thanks much.

K fares are pulling up at $1058 icn-sf0-lax, but DOUBLE that icn-lax non stop! I just tried Nov 28 returning Dec 4. Have u looked at the fares? Are you looking for less than this ?

UA doesn't fly ICN-LAX. You are likely looking at a codeshare on OZ. TG also flies that route for *A.

Another option would be SQ16 to SFO then UA down to LAX.

Those 77Ws are tight in Y (in terms of legroom). If OP has UA status, I'd go with UA for E+.
