    As a MPer living in Korea I can promise you that the people do not "want" for any form of transport. It is so easy to get around and everything is so connected by (cheap) taxis, bullet-trains, buses and subways that stretch up to 90km outside the city. As long as you avoid the Highways to avoid the legendary Korean traffic jams...
