South African Airways to scrap London-Cape Town service
Interesting, a change of the times. Rwoman, thanks for posting such an interesting article regarding one of my favorite airlines!
Just out of curiosity with ones who are familiar with the line: the 25% drop suggest something about Capetown, or it's a cause of the airline itself by offering high prices/poor service?
Firstly, of course they want channel passengers to their main hub of Johannesburg, but there seems to be really something about South Africa lately to happen, have read many other articles about how people decide to travel to some other country instead. Sad to hear IMHO, having never been to South Africa, we look actively to visit this country in the future and this incl. Cape Town and Johannesburg. Thanks for sharing this insightful article with us.
