I have been on MP for a couple of weeks and here are some thoughts:

    1. It would be good to have the navigation bar persistent on the right hand side. In this way one does not have to scroll all the way to the top to navigate away from the current thread.
    2. The right hand space should be configurable so that one can add watched threads, followed people status, Inbox, Alerts etc (whether on or off)
    3. Should be able to configure the number of posts available for viewing.
    4. Answering multiple threads is not completely intuitive.
    5. Need a cancel button next to the Create Thread button

    1. The chat bar at the bottom of the screen has a blue up arrow on the left side. That scrolls you to the top.
    5. You can just navigate away from the thread edit box to cancel.

    7. How did you get numbered lists to work? For me it's a completely broken function unless I code it manually in the bbcode editor.

    Answers to your points:

    1. Thanks for the tip. My point was that if it was persistent, it would provide more flexibility.
    2. You are right, but that was not intuitive for me (I was imagining a total newbie using this function)
    3. Use ordered list button. Works just like Word. Use Shift+Enter to get extra lines in between points.

just doesn't work for me. It puts a number on the first line, not on the following lines.
btw, I've used shift+enter for things for ever. :)

This is what generally happens if I highlight everything and hit the ordered list button:

    1. item 1
      item 2
      item 3
    Code:
    [LIST=1][*]item 1
    item 2
    item 3
    [/LIST]

This is weird! It works perfectly fine for me. Maybe it is the Java Version or some scripting issue?

I always use he navigation bar at the bottom of the page. But feel it would be more intuitive on the right hand side
Agree that having personal navigation available would be very useful.

Given the lack of a de-facto breadcrumb feature in the address bar (since thread URLs no longer incorporate the name of the forum they're in), I find myself opening threads and reading them and then wondering which forum I'm in. Scrolling up just to look at that (and then having to scroll back down and find where I left off) is not particularly efficient.

Whether that's fixed via a navigation bar on the side or incorporating something like that in the bottom navigation bar or making a top navigation bar always visible, I'm not sure, but it would be helpful for me...

Those are in the fixed bars at the top and bottom. Perhaps if a breadcrumb trail appeared in the floating chat bar, so it was always available?
(always, that is, except for my system... I'm thinking I've got a buggy java install)
