    Just answered "Yes I can!" and just stood there watching the wheels and gears spin in the TSA head for about 30 Seconds. I then asked "Would you please say your full name?", which surprisingly I received (alright, maybe not hat surprising) :) I never did say my name.

    What would the OP have done if TSA had asked "and how do you pronounce your name?"

    Could he have said, "I don't -- other people do?"

    <lol>

    Good on you ^ and that's a tangent of what I do when I present my U.S. passport for I/D on a domestic flight*

    TSO: Do you have a driver's license?
    Me: Yes
    <pause>

    TSO: Do you have a driver's license?
    Me: Yes
    <pause>

    TSO: Do you have a driver's license?
    Me: Yes
    <pause>

    And I keep doing this until the nimrod either lets me pass or asks to see my driver's license where I respond "no, you may not as my valid United States of America passport is issued by the same government which employs you is form of identification which is by the TSA.

    *I always present my passport for I/D on domestic flights
