[article] CONCORDIA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas Highway Patrol says four people escaped injury when their small plane went down in Concordia Monday afternoon. KHP Trooper Ben Gardner says it happened just after noon while the aircraft was trying to land at Concordia's airport. The plane came to a stop up-side-down in a field off the end of the runway. Gardner says 64-year-old David Kadel of Randall, Kansas, was piloting the plane, with his two grandchildren, five-year-old Ashton Price and seven-year-old Alexander Price, and the children's father,. 47-year-old Jeffrey Price of Arvada, Colorado, as his passengers. They had taken off from the Concordia airport for a pleasure ride and were returning to land at the same location when the crash happened. KHP's crash log indicates the plane went off the runway and flipped on its top. The aircraft came to a stop, up-side-down in a field.
