    Hi,

    I have a table for 6 (with possibly two seats taken) at Alinea on 31st October at 6:30 pm that I need to get rid of before then. Face value was $1675, but willing to make a deal!

    This is the restaurant in Chicago, right?

    Also, when you say tickets, I assume that this amount represents the reservation deposit or cancellation/no show fee, not a fixed price menu which was booked in advance. The actual cost of a meal, especially with wine, is likely to be more than this amount.

    I do believe Alinea has a fixed price menu, and they've recently switched to a ticketing system (which is a wonderful way to get people to commit, I think):
