I have an overnight layover next weekend at LAX at the end of a PVG MR. I land at 12:05am from ORD and leave at 7:00am to SFO. I would rather not get a hotel for the 5 hours of resting time I would have. Is sleeping in the terminal doable? Thanks!!

Keep in mind the flagship lounge at LAX closes at midnight, in case you were considering that as an option :)

Are there any lounges that stay open 24/7? Every lounge that I've been to in the US or in Europe closes late night through early morning.

I think all the Priority Pass places are 24/7... and the Silverkris lounge at Changi was 24 hours last I checked (albeit it was late last year). I'm sure there are more.

Thanks, viguera! If that is the case, for some folks, that may be a good reason to score a Priority Pass prior to long-haul travel! ;)
I've just never been in a AA, LH, OS, UA, US, etc. lounge that was open 24/7.

Not true. Many PP lounges are NOT open 24/7. However, the SkyView one at SIN is.
