I received word of this just slightly in advance of the announcement and had time to check the new app out. Other than the large contact tiles, it´s really very well done.

My review is available online for those interested.

I downloaded it this morning and deleted the iPhone version of the app from my iPad. It was one of the few iPhone apps I even bother messing with on the larger screen. Glad to have a native solution. With that said, I wonder why they bothered to make it a separate app.

It is very important for users to remember to delete the iPhone app. I didn't at first and I kept getting extra notifications.

That is certainly an interesting problem that I didn't even think of, all the more reason they should have just bundled it together.

I have tried out the app now and I must say it works just as expected. My only real fault has nothing to do with the app but to say that the iPad 2's front camera is really sub par when you are lacking lots of light. Oh well.

Sweet! Downloading it tomorrow. I hated the app on my iPhone - too small, too fussy and fidgety.
    Thanks for the heads up!
