Up to 3000 extra points this time! I have rented cars from Sixt from time to time and I must say they are generous with giving an upgrade almost every time :D. What is your prefered 'carrier'?

In Europe I almost always use Sixt- once in a while Europcar however typically Sixt.

In America Hertz- and even with just the basic Hertz Gold they are not too bad.

    In Canada and Thailand Budget.

Anywhere else that I may rent a car- really depends- although it is not frequent enough to be called "preferred" anyway.

Sixt for 90%, just at OSD I always need to use Budget.
But I told the Sixt-guys already to open up an office there.
Very generous upgrades, well serviced cars, friendly stuff :)

    That depends for me...
When I rent from airports in Europe I prefer Sixt.

If I rent a car in Oslo I often use Hertz, since they have offices conveniently located in the city center.
I also rent cars often in the US, and there I mostly use Hertz.

I would say that at least 95% of my rentals are with Avis, for better and worse. I always get upgrades so I drive off with a better car than I pay for so instead of a middle sized, I drive off with a full size! Presidents Club take care of that...:)
Before that, I took the one that was the most convenient and then Sixt is very seldom the choice as most of my rentals are in the US.
