Will be in Jordan for a month anyone have ideas on what sim card I need for an IPhone 5.
I can't help with a first-hand sim card recommendation for IPhones, but can describe that Jordan's Orange wireless network works fairly well in most all the larger cities. If you're headed to the desert (Wadi Rum) or up north (e.g., Ramtha), you'll likely not have good coverage.
According to this posting (below link), you can buy a sim card at the Amman airport for your phone for @$20. Upon arrival, and clearing customs, you'll also find that the airport duty-free vendors are open for your shopping, and that you can purchase a limited quantity of items from them for your personal use/as gifts.
