SIM card cutter through Security...?

    I wonder if anybody here has experience with taking a SIM card cutter through airport security. I will land in MIA and wanted to have my SIM cutter (basically a small portable hole punch / paper hole puncher) with me handy to cut a SIM card I will probably buy at the airport.... it doesnt really have any sharp edges to it that are exposed, but of course I dont know what the airport security might interpret.

    Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

    I'm not versed in TSA policies, but if they have the "no tools" rule that CATSA has, then I'd say you're likely SOL.

    A bit OT, but somewhat interesting is that my wife had to plead with CATSA at YYZ to let her keep our wheel lock key that was in her purse. They let her go, but not without a warning to never try bringing it through again.
