    ^ Exterior of the hotel.

One of our favorite hotels in Warsaw, we recently stayed here for our second time and received once again fantastic service and the hotel overall was as good as we remembered it from our first time.

It was a paid stay, we booked a Classic room and got a high up SPG Preferred room with great views over the skyline of Warsaw.

Room: Good size, large writing desk, couch chair, coffee table, heavenly bed, Flat screen TV with international channels, marbled bathroom with separate bathtub and shower which offered also the heavenly massage functions.

Our impression: The room was in very good condition, smoke free and looked / felt gorgeous, only a few scatches found on the writing desk. No other wear and tear found.

Here a few photos we took from our room:

The hotel is located in the heart of the city with the CBD nearby, the Old Town is walkable in around 20 minutes plus the Palace of Culture and Science is around only 10 minutes by foot away, plus many restaurants and shops plus other attractions in the near vicinity.

Service: All staff encountered were friendly and had a can do attitude, received again a map of Warsaw at check-in and they pointed out many places of interest for us too.

Club Lounge: They have a fantastic Club Lounge in this Westin, we used the Lounge during our first stay and it is first class, but during this visit our rate has not included access. No problem for us.

Restaurant / Bar / Breakfast: A real highlight, beside the other highlights this hotels offers is the fantastic food here, we had lunch at Fusion restaurant, wonderful polish cuisine incl. the local filled dumplings and pork fillet, simply delicious. Our in-room breakfast was wonderful too and featured many SuperfoodRX offerings, it was A La Carte. The healthy [ alcohol free ] cocktails we enjoyed here are beautifully presented too, overall a pleasure and gets our thumbs up.

Overall: A great hotel, as good as we remembered it to be, wonderful service, a great room on the 16th SPG Preferred Guest Foor, beautiful views over Warsaw, fantastic food and drink offerings, the architecture by John Portman, a gorgeous hotel we look forward to stay again in the future.

Would we want to return to this hotel: YES!
Would we recommend this hotel: YES!

The InterContinental is pretty good, elegant rooms, superb location, great service, food and drinks. Liked it a lot too, plus the Hilton, a great hotel with a huge following, large rooms especially the Deluxe plus, great views, they have fantastic Asian food offerings and a great club lounge too. But the check-in experience during our first stay was cold and not very welcoming IMHO. Our second check-in couldn't have been better. Interesting experiences.

We also rate highly the Le Meridien Bristol, the grand dame of Warsaw, very elegant, located near the Old Town attractions and beside the presidential palace, we had a great stay here and some beautiful memories.

Liked the Hyatt Regency too, fantastic club lounge, very elegant Regency suite, stay was hampered a bit because the location isn't exactly central, was reprimanded for taking photos in the lobby and the Russian president was also there at the time, a lot of security and difficult to get in and out. But the Westin and LM are our favorites overall, the Hilton is great too, when you like the style and location, a bit more walking involved to the CBD and other areas, while the Hyatt based upon our experiences shines with the Regency suite we had and the Club lounge.

We're looking forward to try some other hotels too incl. the Sofitel Victoria, which has been fully modernized and looks great from what we saw so far.

    Helpful, thanks.

I've got an IC RA card right now. I've been meaning to get over to WAW. Maybe this is the time...
