Sheraton (trial program?) for staying in 24 hour blocks?

I had a booking earlier this week at the Sheraton Seattle. Before my stay, I received a rather intriguing email from the hotel. This email included included a “say when…a 24 hour experience.” Similar to the service that is offered at the Beverly Hills Peninsula, this email suggested that I could arrive any time I wanted (including outside of “normal hotel hours,”) and stay for 24 hours from the time of arrival.

I have a more detailed post here.

Not sure if this is a trial or something frequently offered at this hotel. I've not seen it mentioned before. If offered consistently, it would be a nice reason to select the Sheraton.

I have experienced this several times, but not at SPG properties. Some upscale hotels and locations do it, not necessarily for all guests. I find it most useful in overseas locations with weird airplane arrival and departure times. For me, it eases the guilt or reluctance to book an expensive hotel when one will be arriving very late or leaving before dawn.

The LAX Four Points does this.

How does 4pm late check out play into this?

I assume that you pick one or the other. If you arrive at four in the morning, you cannot also expect a checkout at four in the afternoon.

The one hotel that I know advertises this is the Peninsula in Beverly Hills.

I first experienced it at the Hermitage (Raffles) in Beverly Hills.

Yes, in a low key almost residential way. It is located in a quiet neighborhood of Beverly Hills, a little walk from shopping, etc. IIRC maybe two hundred rooms and suites and of course the obligatory rooftop pool.

The L'Ermitage is now with Viceroy Hotels and was formerly with Raffles Hotels.

Yeah I like the idea too. I think it would be good to be offered the choice.

Four Seasons Beverly Hills offers this- it has been super useful for me.
IIRC Sheraton Frankfurt airport also offers this (although I am not sure).

I had it offered to me as well for my second (current) stay there, not the one in late October though. First stay was a non-Club room, this stay is a Club-room (though with a connecting door and paper thin walls it seems :( ).
