Found a nice little Gem of a SPG property in North Texas. Mrs. Platypus and I ran down to Frisco TX for a quick weekend getaway and because I needed another stay toward elite status ;).

Small hotel and has a very boutique style feel to it. Right next to the hotel is some of Frisco's top rated restaurants and it is a short drive to the shopping and the minor league ball park.

The staff was very friendly and handed us cold bottles of water at check-in. We were upgrade to a club level room. The AAA rate for the room was $74 and if you had booked the Club room it was only $89.

Room was pretty standard and seemed a little small but comfy.

The club was also small but well stocked with drinks and snacks.

Evening snacks includes veggie tray, mini spring rolls, misc full size candies like Twix, M&Ms and Snickers as well as an assortment of chips. Breakfast in the lounge included a scrambled egg and cheese, yogurt, pastries, juices and cereals.

Great hotel for a weekend getaway and can't wait to go back down there again.
