I had nice 4 nights stay last week. It's now one of top two favorite Seoul hotel now. I usually prefer Westin brand but in Seoul I would pick this one over Westin Chosun. The hotel is located in a new development that includes, department store, food court, art center, park and etc. Even though it's not located in the center of the city, there is a subway station connected to the hotel and Seoul's metro system makes easy access to the center of the city.

    • Club lounge - very good food offering
    • Nice views
    • Pool and health club
    • Covered connection to the subway station
    • No children under 13 are allowed in club lounge (for family travelers)
Here are link to pictures I have taken during the stay.

    I had a one-night stay here on business in mid-September 2013.

Staff great, very friendly (even remembered my name in a crowded lounge)
Great platinum benefits (upgrade to Pure room, club dinner snacks and drinks, wine welcome gift, full breakfast)
Lovely property (high up, only two years old)
Two bottles of complimentary water in room.
Convenient transportation (above a subway station on the nr. 2 line)
DVD player and free movie rental from lounge.
Nice gym (even has free weights and kettlebells)

Checkin was a bit chaotic, redirected from front desk to lounge, but only one agent in lounge so had to wait ten minutes. Not ideal.
This hotel is pretty confusing to find coming from the subway.
Toothbrush, razor are paid minibar items.
    No morning newspaper.
Some traffic noise but you would have to be very sensitive for it to bother you.

Excellent. This is probably the best Starwood hotel in Seoul in terms of Platinum recognition. I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in town. I also stayed at the Westin Chosun in the middle of town, and the W Walkerhill on this trip, but this Sheraton blew them both away. No contest :)
