Our last three nights in Brazil were at the Sheraton Sao Paulo. While the location is not the best unless you are there for business, the hotel and the service were fantastic. There was still plenty to do within walking distance, and we had a tour guide that picked us up at the hotel for sightseeing. We used suite upgrades to guarantee a suite. They upgraded us to a designer suite which was a bit smaller than the club suites, so we asked for the downgrade back to the club suite as it was larger and had two bathrooms. The designer suites are nicely decorated and more modern than the club suites, but we liked the larger space and more traditional decor of the club suite. We still had access to the designer lounge on the 4th floor which includes a nice selection of free alcoholic drinks. The club lounge on the 15th floor was also nice, but not as nice as the designer lounge especially in the area of alcoholic beverages. Of three hotels we stayed at for this trip, only the Sheraton Sao Paulo was kind enough to recognize the special occasion I had listed at all three hotels, and the manager left a nice bottle of champagne as a congratulatory welcome gift for us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Sao Paulo.
