    Hi All,

On an award trip soon and wondering about lounge access at SFO: if I am traveling LH First from FRA (LH) - SEA -SFO (UA) - LAX (UA), would I be able to access the IFL at SFO?

I was able to access the SQ lounge this way some years ago since there's no phyisical access restrictions, as SFO's website states: "
Transferring from Terminal 3 to the International Terminal

Passengers on flights arriving at Terminal 3 may transfer to International Terminal Boarding Area G via a connector walkway linking the two terminals. The entrance to the connector is located post-security in Terminal 3 near Gate 75, and the exit is located post-security in International Terminal Boarding Area G near Gate G92.
    "

    Thanks!

    :)

    May I ask why?

How about the SQ lounge in the International Terminal as *A Gold?

The SQ lounge may work, but only if they're open. I tried that this past weekend on my way to NRT and it was closed as the SQ flights were at different times.

So why not the United GlobalFirst Lounge? Same day First Class international flight on a *A carrier, seems like it should qualify, no?

If the international segment was at or from SFO, you might have more luck. I doubt the lounge dragons will let you in

No on both the IFL and the SQ lounge at SFO.

International First Lounge is a departure lounge for those on UA 3 class First. Doesn't look like they mention partners. Worth a check though. I really like the lounge, especially when taking 3 class ps first for 50k us miles.

SQ lounge has rules that aren't fully in line with the star rules. SQ will only take passengers continuing to international destinations. They record flight numbers and destinations closely.

I give this a maybe. It is clearly the departure lounge for LH F originating SFO.
