SAN FRANCISCO — A San Francisco light rail train left a station Wednesday morning without its driver, who got out to fix a door and may have forgotten to set the emergency brake.

The incident happened at about 10:30 a.m.

Surveillance video shows the outbound K/T-line train pulling into Castro station. The train operator wearing a vest is visible stepping out to inspect a door that would not close.

Moments later, the door did close and the train took off without the operator.
