spoke to operations manager and the hotel is up and running after the tsunami hit. they are all safe
That is very good to hear!
Great to hear, and likely it is serving as a base for reporters and soon (hopefully) rescue workers
Yeah, most of the rooms have lights on. Seems like a popular place at the moment (my family and I were thinking of spending a night or two)
thanks for the report - glad to hear it.
You "see" so you're local. Glad you and your family are seemingly okay. I think you definitely deserve some cosseting if you can get it after what you've been (and will be) going thru after everything going on. Same goes for most anyone and everyone in that general area. Stay safe!
Thanks. My family and I are all safe and sound. We actually left the city on Sunday morning and are staying with relatives in Kanazawa (western Japan). We will probably go back sometime in the next week or so, depending on what happens with the nuclear power plants.
Glad to see that you threaded the needle and came out OK.
Lots of us who do not know you have been worrying about you. We are all glad you and you family are safe.
Glad you and your family are ok. I'm really sorry about what happened. It's so horrendous. Hang in there, and I hope the donation will kick in soon.
