Asiana Airlines began offering meals containing seasonal vegetables on its long-haul flights on Sunday, marking the start of a month-long promotion that is part of the carrier's new accent on health and well-being.

The menu included bibimbap, or rice with an assortment of seasonal vegetables, and steamed ear shells.

In February, strawberries were added to the list of ingredients, while in May, asparagus will be introduced to in-flight meals, it said.
