    I'm trying to book an award ticket from HAN-REP on Vietnam Airlines. Does anyone know a good way to search for available dates? I've been trying the KLM website but it doesn't ever seem to work. A bunch of database text just comes up and then it hangs on a blank page forever. Does anyone know another way??

    Hi Jasher...not exactly what you are looking for, but I did a quick search I ExpertFlyer for your routing on some arbitrary dates in October. Vietnam Airlines isn't in ExpertFlyer, but China Southern is. From a quick review (see below), there was ample business and economy award availability on their connecting flights. I recognize a non-stop on Vietnam would be better...but at least you have a bit of a backup plan.

    I suspect finding out the Vietnam availability will require a call to Delta. Make sure to ask for specific flights when you do (ie: I want Vietnam Airlines flight XXX on date XXX departing at XXX). Ask about this segment on a stand alone basis, not part of a broader itinerary.

    I suspect when you find an agent who can do it, you'll find decent availability.

    Please let us know how it all works out.

    I used Wandering Aramean's tools a few months ago for VN availability and they were correct 100%.

    "A++++ would use again"
