Good that baggage interline is allowed, but it will be even better if we can earn Krisflyer miles on Scoot :D

Hopefully Scoot will be a full-fledged *A partner, but if it's anything's like SilkAir I doubt it.

This would make this "low cost offering" a full service airline, which of course would be expensive and defeats it's purpose.

Same here, but it would be very unusual for a "low cost airline" to award miles or be a full member of any alliance.

If I'm not wrong one can earn QF miles on Jetstar flight, so I can't see why SQ cannot make a similar arrangement if they want to...

Thanks for pointing this out with Jetstar, naturally SQ could too offer miles in the future.

But SQ being SQ, I don't think they will... :p

I think the arrangement between Jetstar and QF is limited to Qantas's FFP though, and not OW as a whole.

SQ might look at it as a form of price differentiation, just like Jetstar's doing. Though I have no idea who would pay extra to earn such miles (not even sure if they're EQM) on Qantas's FFP.

Take a look at it this way, how SQ and MI are doing right now I think the best possible scenario will be that SCOOT will have accruable mileage in Krisflyer, worst possible is no accruable mileage.

What about the chance to redeem Krisflyer miles on SCOOT? Well we can dream, can't we? :p
