    Before you ask - we will not change the SAS-colors with the A320neo! There are som small errors, like the placement of the SAS-logo on the tail (should be lower), the Scandinavian font is wrong, and the doors should not be red. This was what Airbus provided us with today

    Thanks for the clarification. Well, the red doors looked cool... but good news anyway! What about the blue winglets????

    New version of the illustration has been posted on SAS Facebook page.
    Let's see if I can link it here;

    it is very interesting to see what will happen between now and 2016 where the first is delivered. 5 years is a long time in this world. Will all the MD's continue or is there something else going on. And what about the A330/A340 fleet which also is getting older and older and needs replacement or heavily updates (e.g. seats and IFE).

    Something else is going on. From press release 2011-04-11 :

    "In line with SAS strategy to streamline its fleet, a decision has been made to also phase out MD80 in its Copenhagen base and replace it with Airbus A320. The replacement will start in 2012 and is expected to be completed by 2016. SAS today operates 29 Short haul jets in Copenhagen, 12 A320 and 17 MD80s. "

    I remember reading that a decision will be made this summer although I am not sure there will be an official announcement just yet. SK need to come to an agreement with their preferred partner first to get the best possible price.
