San Francisco International Airport’s new $100 million, 220 ft tall Landmark Control Tower will take shape over the next 18 months.

Hensel Phelps Construction Co and Fentress Architects will serve as the design-build team for the iconic tower.

The new tower will replace the current air traffic control tower, which no longer meets seismic standards.

The tower will be located between Terminals 1 and 2 and features a 650-square-foot controller work area.
