ok.... so this must mean Samsung will buy Apple before this decade is over.... now that SJ is no longer around they will surely become a takeover target....

That's a paranoid nightmare of just about any tech company out there and is a reasonable fear for most.

Back to a serious tone... these Korean Chaebols have deep pockets so its not like they dont have the balance sheet to buy just about any company, although its clear that Apple would not be easy/cheap to buy and would be a huge bite to digest by anyone that tried...

I use an Apple i-phone 4S and a Samsung Galaxy SII. I have to say, I prefer the Samsung device over the i-phone in almost every respect. The only thing about this phone that could be problematic is it's width, which can make it difficult to reach the furthest function key with one's thumb. OTOH, I have large hands so it's not a problem for me (ehem, ladies). [Sorry, that was bad]

I'm looking forward to the upcoming release, possibly 11/21/11, of the new Samsung NEXUS .. with Ice Cream Sandwich! :)

Yet the new Samsung Nexus, fwiw, does not run Flash! :( Not a great thing, admittedly, but understandable .. & bearable, I think! :)
