|| Ryanair to buy 200 Boeings in $18bn order ||
Good news for Boeing.
They need it!
Who? Ryanair or Boeing!
This was time to happen. Airbus would not even try for this one, after O'Leary did his last trick. This time he made a pro-forma discussion with Comac IIRC. With his final B738 now delivered in the last big order it was time for a new one. Once we hear the precise composition it is bound to be a mix of NG and MAX. I'm sure he got a very nice deal even though Boeing knew the deal was theirs before negotiating began. Ryanair already has superb economy of scale in 738's and this will make it even better.
Good news! ...especially for Boeing. Next...a spate of new B777 orders, both X and existing variants.
