    Yes, but it's not only FR who are subject to the legislation for delay comp. Besides, FR's on-time performance (May 2015, most recent data) is the best of the large carriers listed here:

    FR is fully 10 percentage points better than BA even though FR annihilates every other international airline in terms of sheer operational volume (pax carried in 2014 according to IATA tabulations):

    Considering FR operates far more sectors per machine per day on average than BA, with more potential for events to cause delay, this is even more impressive.

    As always, the hard facts demonstrate that FR is a high-performing carrier whether you Dilbertian apologists like its service/philosophy/color scheme or not.
