Yes, we have flown with Royal Brunei, but it was only a short hop from Kota Kinabalu to Bandar Seri Bagawan, a 25 minutes flight which is scheduled daily.

It's a " dry " airline, no alcohol is served / the same with Brunei, the country itself. We've flown economy, the flight began with a prayer, we were given free orange juice and sweets during the flight. Service was friendly and the plane itself was of a great standard. Bandar Seri Begawan Airport is small and relatively easy to navigate too. We can recommend this airline and would fly it again.
