Apologies if this is posted somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

Is there any way to determine when an international route will get a plane change to a new 77W?

You can always try keeping an eye on airlineroute.net. Their information is usually pretty accurate but as always YMMV and I wouldn't rely on it exclusively for booking choices... AA can always change their mind.

Logic would suggest current 777 routes no? .. many of which already have at least one 777W..

Logic and Airlines don't always seem to coincide :)

No but being a primary route/market does. That's why the first planes went onto the JFK/DFW London and Rio routes, and HKG will get them when that one starts up.
