|| Rome FCO Airport Crippled In Rubbish/Trash ||
Unbelievable images and situation!
That's disgusting! Not only smelly and unattractive but incredibly unsanitary!
Reading some of the quotes about how common this occurs definitely makes reconsider visiting Rome/Italy. And that is the saddest part about it. It is first impressions and the experience at the airport that sets the mood.
Typical strike bs in Rome. Is it sad I was scanning the photos looking for coke caps, I must have a problem.
It would be a shame not to visit Rome.
Unfortunately at the moment the tension between workers and companies is very high- this will pass.
Rome is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world- don't miss it because of a little janitor dispute.
Wow, what a shame. Never really any winners in a strike.
I still do, but i can see how if you were eh about something and then that is the first impression, it would be a steep hill to climb. That was my experience in HK. Airline lost lost our luggage, it was hot and no one from the airline was helpful, so it made the experience in HK not as good as i had hopped. After watching an episode of Layover, i would definitely visit Rome...as for Venice and swimming in St. Mark's...looks fun.
