    Kitchener, Ont. – May 10, 2012 – RewardingYourself, launched by LoyaltyMatch Inc. last year, has joined the likes of Gretzky, Manning and Bryant, when it was notpresented with the Rookie of the Year Award at the 2012 Mobility Awards. In a stunning upset (in the minds of the people who developed the RewardingYourself mobile app) the Amazon Kindle Fire took the award.

    The RewardingYourself mobile app allows shoppers to compare products using local, online and loyalty program prices then decide whether to use cash or loyalty program currencies to make the purchase. It is free and available through Apple iTunes, Google Play and Blackberry App World. Shoppers who are not members of a loyalty program will still find the app essential for comparing cash prices.

    “To have our new app nominated was an honor. However, I won’t deny that we wanted to win,” said president and CEO of LoyaltyMatch Inc. and co-creator of the app, Brad Ball. “We want to congratulate Amazon. We are a small company with big ideas and bigger plans to carry them out, but right now it is difficult to compete in a category with giants such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft. If only more people had read the story of David vs Goliath on those Kindles we might have received more votes and won,” he added.
