If you are booking rewards nights, and then you find out that breakfast is not included, then it is a punishment night!

Breakfast is not included unless one has status. Do you and at what level?

My status is that I am hungry in the morning!

In that case you just need book a room with a rate that includes breakfast...

Quite often the better breakfast deals are outside the hotel. ;)

Think about switching over to starwood and manage 25 stays - free continental breakfast for platinums, also on award stays. And in europe this usually means full breakfast buffet.

It's not really free. You must sacrifice your (500) welcome amenity points.

Did you mean to use such a racey thread title? Calling Smiles and Miles (S&M).

Hmmm... I see. The OP is booking what ever number of free nights and wants the property to also throw in free daily breakfast because the only status s/he has is that "s/he is hungry in the morning." Good luck pulling off that trick...;)

I actually meant for the OP to book a paid stay when I said, "In that case you just need book a room with a rate that includes breakfast", 'cause with only "hunger status" and no top elite status, it is one or the other. :)

Correct, with the exception of lounge properties. This should apply at Hilton, too, but one needs status or a club room for club access.

Actually that depends on a property, e.g. W-A Trianon Palace (Versailles, France) does provide one for Gold and above, I heard W-A Cavalieri does too. I definitely read somewhere that many US ones don't provide.

Assuming there is even an HI or HS where the OP wishes to go...;)
WA Shanghai on the Bund offers free breakfast to elites that is nothing short of a royal feast...:)

In fairness, it's kind of hard to avoid looking at a car crash. :)
