Yes, the colour schemes are a bit odd... first class is subdued creams with touches of wood, business is like it was decorated by The Artist Once Again Known As Prince, while economy plays off the same orchard-inspired palette with purples and mauves.

That was a very comprehensive review. Thanks.

I was curious to see how they were going to outfit business class on their A380.

I am not a fan of these staggered j seats. I find the footwells way too constraining.

    Thanks for the review, djsflynn!

Looks to be a huge step up in J from their current angled-flat offering with the window seats being very private.

Will there be a review of their F cabin also? Personal interest as I am booked (barring equipment changes) for next year to CDG.

Not a 'review' per se as I didn't spend much time in it – on the delivery flight all the swanky seats at the sharp end were reserved for VIPs (Thai, Airbus, RR, EADS etc), while we poor media and the Thai PRs had to make do in business class!

But I did manage to snare a little while there to snap some pics and get some first-hand impressions, hooping to have that up later this week.

Thanks for the review! I flew Thai's A380 a couple of weeks ago and loved it. One cool feature is the tail cam. I was able to watch the plane on that 15.4-inch screen as it approached BKK. Interesting perspective!

Yes of course there is an amenity kit. Sorry I forget the brand of toiletries contained in it.

While I'm having trouble remembering the brand despite flying it just yesterday , I think I would have remembered it if it was Porsche.
