    Location:
This property is on 29th street, between 7th and 8th. It is a short walk from Penn Station and I found 8th Street to be slightly less congested. Keep in mind that events at MSG can make the area very busy, especially if walking with bags.

The hotel is easy walking distance to Herald Square, Times Square, MSG, etc. Its location also makes for easy access to the various Subway lines, PATH trains, and regional trains.

There are abundant places to eat and drink nearby - pubs, bars, Italian, fast food...just about everything!

    Check In:
Check in was fairly painless although I had to get a different room because the first one was still being cleaned when I went upstairs.

As a PC Platinum member, they gave me a gift bag with water and chocolate covered raisins upon check in. I thought it was a nice touch! :)

    Room:
The room was an okay size...it IS NYC!! :). Plenty of outlets, flat screen TV, comfortable pillows/bed, and was very functional.

My sister has stayed here in the past and they provided ear plugs due to outside noise. They were not offered to me, but I did not find the outside noise bothersome. That said, the walls of the hotel are somewhat thin and it was easy to hear hallway noise.

    Amenities:
Complimentary breakfast - it was the normal HIEx breakfast spread - a mix of cold cereals, coffee, juice, sausage and gravy, scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc.

Wifi - complimentary and the front desk provided a code. There are also a couple of PC work stations in the lobby.

    One more thing to add...

I left my QC15's and iPod - talking to housekeeping, they were willing to either mail them to me or just keep them until I'm in NYC a week from Friday.

    :)

Looks like the HIX @ Wall Street. I suppose they're all pretty much the same. :)

I've only walked past the Wall St. property and went in to grab a map while we were out and about a year or so ago. I think the lobby @ MSG may be bigger. :)

Very nice that they didn't "disappear" -- commendable service!

Off topic: you sure do fly TATL an awful lot. I hope it's mostly up front!!!

My sister called immediately and housekeeping had everything right there this morning. I'm grateful for honesty!!

\Most of it is in Y...I'm selective about seats, so it's not always too miserable. My travels will fall off April-June (all expense paid trip to Afghanistan) and I've been taking advantage of a combination of DEQM on AA last month, some pretty cheap DL fares, and going to ATL to take care of some dental work. Withe 2.5 months of no flying and plans to fly very little July-August, I do not want to need crazy trips in the fall to retain DL DM or AA Plat. ;)

Indeed... there's no lobby to speak off at the Wall Street hotel. :)

Here's one from about 18 months ago...LINK Granted, going in my own clothes is not exactly the same as my trips in uniform. :)

    Hi everyone,

I stayed here again last night. :)

    - Two weeks ago, I left my QC15's and my iPod. I had called - they held them and I got them back yesterday at check-in. :D
    - Staff was again very good and personable.
    - As a PC plat, late check out was no issue.

    :)
