    Credit card companies, airlines, and hotels love sponsoring sporting events to get their names out there. And often that can nicely benefit members. For example, Starwood is a sponsor of the US Open, so they have all kinds of "SPG Moments" packages available for members to redeem points for and bid on. It's a pretty cool opportunity to redeem points for something other than travel (which might sound crazy to us, but there are road warriors who hate the thought of spending any more days traveling). Starwood isn't the only one to offer cool stuff for their members, though. For example, Chase is also a big sponsor of the US Open. Specifically, there's a Chase Lounge at the US Open, which is available to all Chase customers.
