I am tickeded on SK1845 (in November). SK cancelled the flight and are now offering me a only a refund. Period. They refused to rebook me at all. (they dropped the route and are now selling it as a LH codeshare, which they (a SK supervisor) say I can only fly on if I pay the fare difference).

I know that SK is in dire straits but the finances must be really bad if they refuse to follow the rules on rebookings.

Anyone who have had similar experiences with SK recently?

Have you tried calling back to talk to a different person?

Yes I have. Talked both to an ordinary agent and to a supervisor. Both claimed they had orders not to re-route on non SK-metal.

    "Orders"?

I wonder if the agents meant "Orders" as in a note placed in your reservation by a prior agent.

Seems very hinky to me. In this case, I'd contact them via Facebook, they are required to rebook you to another carrier per the EU rules:

Also, per SAS T&Cs. CLEARLY stated in # 2.2: (sorry Norwegian only, but should suffice:

SK promised to solve the problem after i asked on FB. No idea why they repeatedly refused in the first place however.

    Thanks Tommy.
