    $186.00

I vaguely remember filing for this refund from a lawsuit I saw posted. According to the letter, this was the Amex portion, another is due from Diners Club and VISA.

Wow. My wife got 1/10 of that. I got nothing so far. And if this was the Amex portion, I don't understand why she got anything -- I don't think she ever used an Amex card abroad.

I was traveling international lots and lots during that time. As I recall, I kind of guessed as to the amount I had spent so I went on the high side.

The check came in an envelope with a window, I just about tossed it because it looked so cheesey.

    Good Day:
I did not receive any check yet. Turned in Refund Option 3 in early December 2007 and received a claim number and a refund ID.
I had about $9,500.00 worth of foreign transactions.
At the time the refund estimation was between 1% and 3% of the "Annual Estimation foreign transactions depending on the card and date of use"; this would explain separate checks being issued.

My wife's was just a folded postcard. Guess $18 wasn't worth protecting with an envelope.

    You done good!

I rec'd $chai.04* on Thursday but I used option 3 as I didn't have my records from back then so I went by an estimate of the miles that posted to my Mileage Plus account**. goalie-dad otoh, used option 2 and is waiting to receive his. Also, be forewarned.....there are two methods of how the check shows up that I know of......Mine showed up as a 5"x4" folded postcardy thing on semi-cardboardy stock and it could be interpreted as junk mail but others have reported that their check showed up in a window envelope

    *that's $18.04 for the non-tribe folks out there ;)

*I have every Mileage Plus Statement with every bp stub and e-receipt printout appropriately stapled since I joined in 1998

I just guessed, I was out of the country at least 200 days a year for several years during that time so I guessed a pretty substantial number, but I have no idea what it was anymore.

Still haven't seen mine yet, but it did make me check my mailbox. All my charges were on MC and Visa.

It's been four years since I filed a claim, and I was about ready to give up on it just because I thought the settlement amount was going to get litigated away. I'll have to continue to look for something!

Has it really been four years? Oh my, I certainly had forgotten about it and was surprised when the check for my wife arrived. Still hoping to get something. If I think back, my estimates for my travel were significantly higher than hers.

My printed settlement confirmation shows 12/18/07. The fact that I still have it on my fridge tells you something.

I used Option 2, 46 days. This means I'll probably get something like $3, but that's more than I was expecting throughout the whole process.

    Good Evening:
The refund option 3 called for an "Annual Estimation Refund" but each account number on each card had to be provided and listed starting on 02/01/96 and going all the way through 11/08/06 broken down by year.
I would hope the administrator is not refunding any money without the proper verifiable information/data.

I suppose they did verify based on my input; but honestly, it has been so long I have no idea what I put down. If I had to guess it was something like 75K for 6-7 years and 100K for 2-3 years or something like that.

    Good Day:
Received a check today in the amount of $84.40 with a letter indicating that I was also a party in a second class action lawsuit scheduled to go to trial on May 2012. The letter is dated November 10, 2011. This amount is slightly less than 1% of my documented total foreign transactions.

I got my check last week. It was $97 and change. It came with a note advising that the disbursements were smaller than originally stated because there were more claims than anticipated.

What's the likelihood of the check finding me if I have moved since filling out the form? I would definitely be getting the postcard variety, so not too concerned, but still nice to know.

My $18 check arrived in the mail yesterday.

I'm thinking that any refunds regarding the second (AmEx) lawsuit will be available sometime in 2013 or 2014. :p

I would say to go to the CCF settlement Web site (http://www.ccfsettlement.com/home/) and see if you can update your address. Perhaps they can void the original check and issue you a new one.
